AutoSpecs Daily is a free resource. We do not charge users for access to our calculators, guides, or articles. To keep this site free, we earn revenue through two sources: display advertising and affiliate links. This page explains exactly how each works.
1. Display Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display advertisements on our pages through Google AdSense. These are the banner and rectangular ads you may see on article pages, tool pages, and other areas of the site.
How it works
Google serves ads based on the page content and your browsing context. We earn a small amount each time an ad is displayed or clicked.
What it does NOT affect
Ad revenue does not influence which topics we cover, what we recommend, or how our calculator tools work. Advertisers do not review or approve our content.
How we keep it reasonable
We limit ads to a maximum of 2 placements per article page. We do not use pop-up ads, interstitial ads, or ads that interfere with your ability to read content.
2. Affiliate Links (Amazon Associates)
Some articles contain links to products on Amazon. These are affiliate links through the Amazon Associates program. Our affiliate tag is autospecsdail-20.
How it works
When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission (typically 1-5% of the purchase price). This costs you nothing extra.
What it does NOT affect
We do not recommend products solely because they have affiliate links. Products are recommended based on ratings, reviews, relevance, and value. We include non-affiliate alternatives when appropriate.
How we disclose it
Every article that contains affiliate links includes a visible disclosure notice near the top of the page. We want you to know when a link is an affiliate link before you click it.
What We Do NOT Do
We do not accept payment for positive reviews or product placement
We do not allow advertisers to influence or preview editorial content
We do not manipulate calculator results to favor any brand or product
We do not gate content behind paywalls, signups, or email captures
We do not sell user data to third parties
We do not use pop-up or interstitial advertisements
