2. Right to Correction (Rectification)

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information we hold about you.

3. Right to Deletion (Erasure)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions, including:

6. Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing of your personal information, particularly:

  • Processing based on legitimate interests (we will stop unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds)
  • Direct marketing (we will stop immediately)
  • Processing for scientific or historical research (unless necessary for public interest)

7. Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing

Under CCPA, you have the right to opt-out of the "sale" or sharing of your personal information with third parties for advertising or other purposes. Sharing data with advertising partners and affiliate networks may constitute a "sale" under CCPA.

8. Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent (e.g., newsletter subscriptions, cookie consent), you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of your privacy rights, you can:

  • Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: Use the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link in our footer
  • Manage Cookies: Use our cookie consent tool to manage cookie preferences
  • Unsubscribe: Use the unsubscribe link in our emails

Response Time

We will respond to your request within the following timeframes:

  • CCPA Requests: Within 45 days (may be extended by an additional 45 days with notice)
  • GDPR Requests: Within 1 month (may be extended by 2 additional months for complex requests)
  • General Requests: Within 30 days

If your request is complex or we receive multiple requests, we may need additional time. We will notify you if we need more time to process your request.

Verification

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to provide:

  • Your name and email address (must match our records)
  • Additional information to confirm your identity
  • Proof of identity (for sensitive requests)

We will only use this information to verify your identity and process your request. We will not use it for any other purpose.

No Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not:

  • Deny you goods or services
  • Charge you different prices or rates
  • Provide you a different level or quality of services
  • Suggest that you may receive different treatment

However, certain features may require personal information to function (e.g., personalized content, newsletter delivery). If you opt-out of certain data collection, those features may not be available.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your personal data violates GDPR. You can find your local supervisory authority at the European Data Protection Board.

If you are a California resident, you can file a complaint with the California Attorney General if you believe we have violated CCPA.
